Hey...here i go with my travel tale...
Yes... it was my first trip to abroad.(being hardcore indian i am not fancied abt other countries..just a visit for few days is ok..).As we planned for honeymoon,the location chosen was switzerland.
I had read in books,seen in movies about this country.Had seen the serial Heidi -cute girl in apps- duringchildhood days.Then had idea and heard that its one of the most beautiful country in the world.
We started from bengalooru on 6th march at 12:30am.Our flight to zurich was via Dubai.When we landed in zurich it was 12:30pm local time.I started enjoying aerial view and beauty of zurich from the plane itself. All the tiredness disappeared and filled with enthusiasm after seeing the view.
We booked hotel in Dietikon.Slept nicely the whole afternoon.Next day we found out nearest railway station and got 24 hrs valid ticket.We travelled to zurich city railway station,found out about excursions arranged by local tourist centres.After booking tickets for next 3 days excursions we roamed around zurich city.
Zurich is a clean city with cute little cobble stone streets,canals and gorgeous buildings.We visited old town, famous Bahnhofstrasse,saw the biggest clock face of europe on St.Peter's Church,the Guild houses.Then we entered Fraumunster church-which is famous for stained glass windows designed by Marc Chagall.Next scenic point was Lake Zurich.We took photos and had a short walk beside the lake.The view of zurich lake was awesome where at one side Limmat river joins the lake having just flown through centre of zurich.Then we went to the top of a nearby hill.Wav..!!! we could see postcard view with city zurich,lake and white peaks of Alps in it.I just pinched myself to realise/test..Yes..I was awake...:-)
After coming down we crossed lake zurich by ferry boat.At this time my camera battery was exhausted and couldnt click any more photos.Was bit disappointed because it was scenic drive.Yes...enjoyed view from all over 360 degrees.We came back to zurich along the Golden coast.Forgot to mention..we saw Lindt chocolate factory from outside,houses of writer Thomas Mann and singer TinaTurner.(she owned 2 houses there at different localities.couldnt imagine how much rich she was!!!)It was a nice day .Came back and slept nicely to get ready for the most awaited excursion on the next day.Next day was most unforgettable one,it was to the amazing world of Jungfraujoch or they call it "Top of Europe"

its been really long time i havent updated my blogs. At one point of time i almost forgot that i have an account in http://www.blogger.com/
Life has been changed so much after my last blog.So many things happened ,so many thoughts rushed in...but dint get time to use the keyboard and internet together...
I have grown up from a little girl to a married lady... mental maturity...???dnt know whether it has come... but..yes i have that kiddish nature still in me which at times irritates others...:-)
nevertheless... i will soon make entry about my swiss trip ...hm..ya..we(me and my hubby) had been to swiss after our marriage..It was indeed a great trip..

Journey from office to my PG is longer these days..(obvious reason is increased traffic). Generally i listen to FM in my mobile and/or chat with my friend/s.I am missing both of these from 4 days....My earphone stopped working (probably could not sustain the workload!) and my friend is loaded with work... :-( [ not able to come with me]
So i think about lot of things in bus these days..(hahah nothing to do...). I think about present activities happening in my life,future plans, dreams, memories and so on...
Yesterday went back to my childhood days.. i mean those memories...lost myself in those good days...
I started listing (in my mind)the things which i miss now...I am just putting those here.. :-)
I miss the beautiful evening when Mom was waiting for us to come from school. She was standing near the door,expecting her kids to return home, with lots of love and affection on her face,Hm..Now a days neither i see her everyday,nor i go to school..I miss this moment ...
Well life just moves on....
I miss good old friends. Yes , I do have very good friends now.But ,Every friend is unique.Missing those buddies, those long chatting hours, playing all possible games,cheating here and there, those stupid fights... I remembered them one by one...Most of them are kiddish behaviour(of course we were kids..) rather innocent acts...Reasons for those fights seem so stupid now.I just could not stop smiling when i remembered some of the incidents..Person who was sitting next to me turned and stared at me, then only i realised where i was.
I miss summer holidays..Aah.. those 2 long( or short?)months of vacation.It was really big head ache for parents... :-)
Trip to grand parents place, meeting relatives,playing whole day, no need to study for exams/tests...Sometimes i used to think why time just cant stop here? Again fights with cousins while playing( every kid wants to win the game...!!!), getting hurt, oh.. those scoldings from elders(used to enjoy even that :-))...Hm..nice 2 months indeed.
I have been missing the beginning of monsoon season( its amazing @native)from several years.Sitting and watching the first rain drops touching the earth. !The rhythmic sound( i call it one of the best music composition by nature) of rain drops falling , smell of earth.Awesome!!! It was a nice combination - sitting with father and enjoying the rain.( along with that we used to have different food items which are specially prepared for rainy season..).
I feel the first rain has its own unique appeal. It is the long waited moment for village people.Good to see happiness in their face...
I had to cut down my thoughts here ,since i had to get down from the bus.
I refreshed myself with those memories, enjoyed those "moments of life" in virtual way,with effects being the same.... :-)

Last Sunday i got opportunity to watch the most talked kannada movie of these days "Mungaru Male"Had planned many times before to watch that movie, but it got canceled for various reasons.
Tickets got over when it was just my turn to buy..(why this always happens to me?i still wonder!!!)Some people were sending tickets in black.....Since we decided to watch that movie at any cost ,we bought the tickets...Was eager to watch as i heard very good reviews about the movie.
Wav... a very nice Kannada movie i watched after really long time..Eventhough i heard the reviewsi wasnt biased...I had a different impression/opinion about the hero of the movie and i dint knw who was the heroine. Hero just perfectly fitted into the role i felt after watching...Story is very ordinary but it is presented so well.The best part of the movie is its dialogues... It was so natural and funny and factful at places...
Second thing is the picturization...(In fact not the second thing)The best picturised kannada movie i ever watched.The monsoon rain is picturised so well.. It reminded the monsoon days of my place..(coastal Karnataka)..Simply superb..Now i have a desire to drench in the next monsoon rain...(Let my mother say whatevr :-))
Another positive point is the songs. Awesome lyrics and beautifully sung by the singers...(Especially Sonu Nigam)

First I watched the serial which was telecasted in DD.. then i read the book "Swami and Friends"(serial is based on this book mainly).
Wav.....what an awesome serial it was... characters were very natural....
Hats off to the director Shankar Nag.....:-)
and the most admired character is of course Swaminathan... I think no one could have handled the role better than Master Manjunath... he was so perfect for the role....
I love the title song... its an awesome tune.... even now i listen to this atleast once in a day.....
I am reading that book again and again... Why i love this book so much is i can relate myself to the character swami... I have also gone through situations which he goes through... It reminds me my childhood days...
