With so many trees falling in our garden city Bangalore ,nothing much could do except feel sad.We thought lets plant something or grow some plants in our balcony.So me and husband went and bought some..now its lovely feeling watchng them grow and blossomed flowers.Here are some pics of new members at our home.

Here i am blogging after a gap.
There is a major change in life which was never updated here and its almost 14 months for my motherhood..Oh..Yes..We r blessed with a baby girl on 6th march 2009.
Its a great feeling to be a mother and even greater to carry the responsibilites of a life.
Also i realised why mother is God.its very much true.It requires enormous energy,patience which i lacked initially..Time and experience teaches everything.

A Poem for little one....:-)

when i listened your heartbeat
i was happy and delight
when i heard your first cry
my heart filled with joy

your tender skin
soft little chin
releaving all the pain
feeling i couldnot explain

eyes looked so curious
face litted with innocence
your small sound
made me literally astound

you are the angel
my princess
love your giggle
hug and kisses

There is a saying "Only one child is perfect in the world and every mother has it.".True!!!

Next excursion was to Mt.Titlis,the highest vantage point in central switzerland.We started excusrion day at 10 a.m., by boarding delux bus.It took us through a very scenic route to the mountain village of Engelberg.It was absolutely stunning.Engelburg was the starting point for our venture to titlis.In this place wherever you turn there is a maountain range in front of you with snow and ice.It took around 40 minutes to go up from here.

First 25minutes is a ride in a gondola-a wire suspended box that carries 6 people.After first stage we were 5904feet above sea level.In the next stage of ascent we rode inside a larger gondola.End of this stage we were 8036 feet above sealevel.The final stage we boarded 360degree revolving aerial gondola/rotair(heard its world's first ever rotair).While ascending to the top the floor of gondola rotates.We can see spectacular view of the Alps.When we reached top we were 10000 feet above sea level,having nothing around but Alps,snow,mountain air,ice and skiers.Oh....yes there were restaurants,shopping centres too.And of course the famous swiss watch shops as well.:-)

On our way back to Zurich from Titlis we visited one beautiful charming city called Lucerne.Lucerne has attractions for everybody.Highly impressed city it is.It claims to be one of the world's six most frequently visited cities.I can say its a darling town....clean,bright and friendly.City is situated on lake Lucerne and a river runs through the middle of the city.This city is surrounded by snow capped mountains in 3 directions.

Lake Lucerne is amongst the most spectacular with mountains on all the sides and forests coming down to the shore at several places.Worth doing a cruise ,but we couldnt go as we were running out of time.We saw the famous Chapel bridge-204m long wooden bridge built in 1333,eventhough much of it had to be replaced after 1993 fire.Ok..,let me not write the fire story here.This place is one of the most photographed one in the world.The bridge runs by the octagonal water tower.Inside the bridge series of paintings from 17th century are present.Bridge with its tower is this city's famous landmark.

This city is famous for shopping too..;-).We bought one swiss watch for me..and the famous swiss knife.Of course yummy chocolates...:-)
The calm,peaceful lucerne lake impressed me the most.

Came back and relaxed at hotel.We roamed around zurich city,old town next day.Collected info about their government,economy etc.Another thing to mention is the punctuality of trains and frequency.Travelling is not at all difficult there.No doubt an expensive country.

Swiss has post card views evrywhere.Colors are just brilliant.Combination of green and blue,snow capped peaks around,several lakes in between,different textures of water,tall leafless trees,the lawn like grass,white capped houses,railways tracks in between the mountains with different trains moving in and out of mountains,the roads,tunnels all these made us took huge no of photos.I felt happy for the reason-I can click good photos...Hehehehhe..Anybody can with so much God gifted beauty around.

It was just like in Heidi stories I read as a kid.Small towns with red roofs(or rather white in winter season),sprinkled on green ground and alps hang in the distance....Oh...no..I keep continuing the description again if i wont stop now....:-)
We passed through amazing landscapes to the mountain world of Bernese Oberland.We both were clicking photos on all the sides, one in digital camera other in mobile camera. No one can become a bad photographer there. Just a click without much focus also results in a good photo. We went to the Interlaken on the way.
Interlaken is a village between 2 huge lakes Thun and Brienz.Other two sides are surrounded by mountains. Town is very pretty and situated in the heart of Swiss Alps below Jungfraujoch mountain. Ride to Interlaken gave some amazing views of small villages tucked in the valleys. We bought a nice Swiss watch (Swiss military) for Sud.Before buying we had done bargain for some time. Bargain was not with the shop person but between us....:-)

From Interlaken we headed to Lauterbrunnen.From there the journey upwards continues in the modern narrow gauge cogwheel railway. The track is not wide enough to accommodate standard trains. It is something like roller coaster; a centre rail of gear teeth is used to help pull the train up the tracks. Ride from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg was scenic with mountains, waterfalls, tiny houses, snow coated trees etc.We saw some cows also at some houses in the snow filled mountain. At Kleine Scheidegg we found our self in front of Mt.Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

From Kleine Scheidegg we took another train to Jungfraujoch.There was nice view of red colour train running in the middle of snowed mountains. This final leg to the top was by a way of tunnel which was more than 9km long. It took 30 years to drill this tunnel. This train was quite modern. It had video display which covered history, features and things to do at Jungfraujoch.
We got some great views from viewing platforms cut into the mountains. Train stopped at these places for 5minutes.

Final destination of this train was at Jungfraujoch which is the highest train station in Europe.This place sites to some of highest mountains of europe,to name Eiger,Monch and Jungfrau.We had great views at top which is 3454m above sea level.Went to Sphinx observatory to catch views of Monch and Jung glaciers.It was breathtaking.The ice palace is a must visit.Floor,ceiling,walls,sculptures everything is ice there.Couldnot walk for long since it was terribly freezing.There were restaurants,shops. Sud was busy there looking at watches even after buying one...:-)

After spending sometime there we felt altitude sickness.Since there was change in blood pressure(someone said so.i am not good in these medical things) got dizziness.We got train from there to go down.This journey was on the other side and it leads to Grindelwald.
The most memorable,amazing day it was!In the whole swiss trip I can say this is the highlighted part.
